Book Trailers

What do I read next? is a new link on the Library Webpage (click here to see the library page).  We have the usual sites such as YALSA and Guys Read.  We have added Book Trailers 4 All.   It is a great resource to view popular book trailers.  From Ellen Hopkins to Ally Carter, there's something for everyone.  Click here to start watching their YouTube Channel!

Each morning before morning announcements start we select one book and play the book trailer on our new flat screen TV.

Coming Soon to a Book Near You!

We are working on permission to add QR codes to our books.  What are QR codes?

A QR Code is a specific matrix barcode, readable by dedicated QR barcode readers and camera phones.  The code consists of black modules arranged in a square pattern on a white background.  (Wikipedia)

What does this mean?  Simply put, it means QR codes will allow the user to watch book trailers right on their smart phones.  All that's needed is a smart phone and the free app called "Neoreader". (BTFA)  We will be placing QR codes on books as soon as permission is granted.  Below is a picture of a QR code placed in a book.  Many thanks to Linda Holder from Somerset High School in Texas for her idea on a bulletin board announcing the use of QR codes.
